  Abiodun Aleja, a Nigerian actor and Nollywood director has passed away. Aleja died in Lagos on Friday. He worked on several projects with colleagues Tunde Kelani and Kunle Afolayan. The deceased would be remembered for his role in Afolayan’s ‘October 1’ blockbuster. Chairman, Lagos chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANATAP), Makinde Adeniran, said the wife broke the news. Aleja was admitted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) after he slumped at home weeks ago. The filmmaker reportedly went into coma but was revived at the hospital.
