Marc Anthony is a superstar in his own right, but fans can't deny that his fame became even more intense when he married Jennifer Lopez and subsequently welcomed twins with her.
What fans may not realize is that before he wooed J.Lo, Marc already had four children (and one ex-wife). Unfortunately, things didn't work out for Marc with any of his children's moms -- there are a total of three -- and his marriage to recent flame Shannon De Lima ended after about two years, in 2017.
Fans think they know why Marc and J.Lo didn't work out, but either way, their tween-age twins were more than worth the drama. And Jennifer didn't find true love with her subsequent relationships, either; Casper Smart has long since moved on from the songstress.
But Marc, whose real name is Marco Antonio Muñiz, is clearly no stranger to marriage or family life. And while the spotlight has long been on his twins with J.Lo, Maximillian and Emme, Marc is obviously involved in his other children's lives, too.
He's an experienced dad as well; Anthony's oldest child, Arianna Muñiz, was born in 1994. Her mom is Debbie Rosado, Marc's ex-girlfriend, and the pair also adopted a son, Chase, together the following year.
Marc was then married to Dayanara Torres from 2000 to 2003, and the pair welcomed sons Cristian Muñiz (2001) and Ryan Muñiz (2003).
In total, Marc has four sons and two daughters, ranging in age from 13 to 27. So who are his older kids, and why doesn't the public hear about them as much as they do J.Lo's twins?
For one thing, Marc seems to prioritize family time out of the spotlight. While each of his children has appeared with their dad in public or at special celebrity events over the years, not all of them willingly step into the spotlight.
Arianna, for example, was photographed hanging out with her dad's then-wife Jennifer, says Yahoo.
Although some sources say Arianna (also spelled Ariana) is an actress, IMDb only has one project listed for her; a 2006 film. Her social media is locked down, too, so fans can only speculate. Chase is similarly radio-silent, with only a few pics of him in existence.
As for Chase Muñiz (AKA Alex), he's also been snapped hanging out with his dad. But Marc rarely shares either of those kids on his social media -- probably because they're adults with lives of their own now. But Cristian and Alex are clearly close.
Ryan is perhaps less visible online, but the 17-year-old is good-natured about posing for pics on his dad's social media. Marc shared a post earlier this year that featured Ryan standing by an advertisement of the twins and J.Lo, joking that his son 'ran into' his siblings at the mall, noted Hola.
Though their family is unconventional, it seems like Marc Anthony is intentional about ensuring his kids all get to spend time together, even if he doesn't have full custody of all of them.
