  Elsie Okpocha, wife of popular Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has called out President Muhammadu Buhari’s government over the increment in prices of groceries and foodstuffs. Basketmouth’s wife, in a recent post, said it’s unfair that Nigerians have to constantly deal with the regular increase in prices. Entertainment news : I was depressed, used to smoke – Toyin Abraham opens up on life challenges

  Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Toyin Abraham has opened up on life challenges that led to her rediscovering herself. Toyin in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, said she fell into depression sometime in her life and had to seek the help of a counsellor. Recounting her experience, Toyin revealed that being depressed made her abandon her family and led her into smoking cigarettes which is unacceptable in her Christian home. The 39-year-old actress said, “At some time in my life my manager had to get me a counsellor because I was depressed but lived in denial. I was not happy and very scared of life. “It was that bad that I thought of swimming or jumping from the third mainland bridge and hoping someone will save me. “I confided in people and they used it against me, I had fear of the unknown, my thought filled with negative things. “It was hard for me to trust people then because the people I had around me didn’t know how to keep things secret....

  Popular Comedian, Ayodeji Makun, also known as AY, has welcomed his second child after thirteen years. He announced this in a video shared on his Instagram page. The birth of their second child is coming thirteen years after they had their first child, Michelle. Alongside a video, AY wrote: “Our prayers in the last thirteen years has been answered. Entertainment news : Duncan Mighty failed to appear at concert after collecting N3.6 million – Jackson Ude alleges

  Jackson Ude, a former Director of Strategy and Communications under President Goodluck Jonathan, has accused Popular musician Duncan Mighty of fraud. Ude in a tweet on his Twitter page alleged that Duncan Mighty failed to perform at a show after he was paid N3 million and N630.000.00 for flight tickets. He said the self-acclaimed Port Harcourt First Son lied he was involved in an accident and was notorious for collecting money from show promoters and not showing up. Recall that on January 2nd, the River State-born claimed he was involved in an accident while travelling to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Entertainment news : Nollywood making young Nigerians go into money rituals – Samklef

  Nigerian Music producer, Samklef has claimed that a lot of young Nigerians “are into ritual” because of what they see in Nollywood movies. Samklef alleged that Nollywood promotes “fetish stuff in all their movies”. The music producer further advised Nollywood to have better scripts, adding that everything is not “religion or juju”. His tweets read, “These Igbo Nollywood, English and Yoruba movies are the reason why a lot of young boys are doing rituals. They keep promoting fetish stuff in all their movies. “Nigerian movies producer can do better. Everything must not be based on juju and religion.” Recently, there have been reports of young men using human parts of women for money rituals.

  Billionaire Nigerian businessman, Obi Iyiegbu, also known as Obi Cubana, has said he has no interest in politics or running for governorship.
