  Governor, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has vowed that nobody can rename any part of the state. The Governor said this while making veiled reference to the activities of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) in the state. Wike spoke on Friday at the Government House in Port Harcourt when he played host to a delegation of Tiv people living in Rivers State under the aegis of Mdzough U. Tiv led by Mr. Caleb Yashi. The Governor called on Tiv people to continue to live peacefully with people of their host communities. Wike noted that the Tivs have not caused any trouble in Rivers State even though they are warriors, and very strong. “Rivers State is a place that is very accommodating. We accept everybody to stay with us peacefully. It is only those who want to rename Rivers State that I have said, I will not agree. “Nobody can rename Rivers State.   Popular singer, Justin Bieber has reacted to being nominated in ‘pop’ categories at the 2020 Grammys. Bieber picked four nomination this year for Best Pop album, Best Pop solo performance, Best Country duo performance and Best Pop group performance. But, Bieber expressed dissatisfaction at the nomination category, stating that his album was set out to be R&B not Pop. On his Instagram page, Bieber wrote: “To the Grammys, I am flattered to be acknowledged and appreciated for my artistry. I am very meticulous and intentional about my music. With that being said I set out I set out to make an R&B album. Changes is an R&B album. It is not being acknowledged as an R&B album which is very strange to me.” Bieber, however, expressed gratitude to the Grammys organisers for nominations and respecting his music.   Nollywood actress, Linda Osifo, has revealed she nearly had surgery to remove her facial tribal marks. Osifo on her Instagram page said she was bullied as a child because of her tribal marks and this made her consider undergoing surgery to remove them. According to her, “while in elementary school in Canada, I remember being made fun of about my tribal marks and asked if I got scratched by lions in Africa. Bon Iver won the Best New Artist in 2012 Grammys, while Nicki lost all four 2012 categories she was nominated in. However, Nicki made Grammys history by becoming the first Solo female rapper to perform at the award ceremony. Nicki on her Twitter page on Tuesday night dragged Grammys for giving the award to Bon Iver. She wrote: “Never forget the Grammys did not give me my best new artist award when I had seven songs simultaneously charting on billboard and bigger first week than any female rapper in the last decade and went on to inspire a generation.
