Veteran actress, Genevieve Nnaji has joined Nigerian celebrities in condemning the xenophobic attacks carried out by South Africans against foreigners, mostly Nigerians in their country. The attacks and killings have so far led to an outrage on social media and beyond. Veteran Nollywood Actress, Genevieve Nnaji s movie has been nominated for the 2020 Oscars in the category of Best International Film. ‘Lion heart’ is the first ever entry for Nigeria. Nigerian Oscars Selection Committee (NOSC) had on Wednesday picked Genevieve’s ‘Lionheart’ as the country’s submission to the International Feature Film category of the 2020 Oscars. The group announced the selection following a statutory vetting and subsequent voting of entries received from Nigerian filmmakers at home and in the diaspora. Nigerian musician, Davido has revealed his preferred housemate to win this year’s Big Brother Naija, BBNaija. Davido took to his Twitter page revealing that he had three friends among the BBNaija housemates in the reality show. The ‘Blow my mind’ crooner listed Kim Oprah, Tacha and Omashola as his friends. Davido, however, added that he would be voting for Omashola to emerge winner, since the other two housemates have been evicted from the reality show.
